Advanced controls

Biome

Thematically distinct areas that define the visual and structural characteristics of your dungeon.

  • Dungeon: built underground structures with purpose-crafted chambers and corridors
  • Cave: naturally formed passages and caverns with organic, irregular layouts

Level

The depth below the surface. Deeper areas contain greater dangers and greater rewards.

  • Level 1: Beginner monsters, common treasures
  • Level 2-3: Challenging encounters, uncommon treasures
  • Level 4+: Deadly creatures, rare treasures and artifacts

Type

The room structure type. Spaces are destinations to explore, passages are connections between them.

  • Space: A room to explore (Chamber in Dungeon, Cave in Cave biome)
  • Passage: A connection between spaces (Corridor in Dungeon, Tunnel in Cave)
